Geography Software -- The Big Picture

SuperKids looked at two geography programs, and found a couple of good easy to use programs.

  • Mission Possible World Geography [for ages 12 to adult] from EdVenture Software, is a geography quiz, thinly cloaked in the guise of an adventure game. It is a good review program covering basic world geography facts.
  • The Advanced Scholar's US Capitals [for ages 7 to 12] from Software Guidance Corporation, teaches basic U.S. geography and state capitals in a clear, concise, and fun format. It does the job it claims with the help of an interested and willing user.
