JumpStart Math for Kindergartners [for ages 4 to 6] from Knowledge Adventure, does an outstanding job of providing young users with basic math facts, in a fun manner.
Math Blaster for 1st Grade [for ages 5 to 7] from Knowledge Adventure, is well-suited for the less motivated math student who likes arcade-style games.
MindTwister Math [for ages 7 to 10] from Edmark, provides a fun review of age-appropriate math skills. Good for both the struggling and the accomplished student.
Quizz Show: Alien Escape [for ages 8 to 12] from VTech Soft, offers well-written, curriculum-based questions to strengthen students’ skills in Math, Science and Technology. Best for sci-fi lovers.
Hi-Flyer Decimals [for ages 8 to 13] from Hi-Flyer Software, supplies concrete number manipulation allowing students to visualize the numbers represented by decimal numbers. Not a game, but a very effective teaching tool, especially for students who don't readily grasp the concept.
Solid Gold Gnarly Math [for ages 10 to 14] from Santa Monica Publishing Co., offers some intriguing math problems, labs, games and puzzles -- but our reviewers found its presentation sometimes amateurish and frustrating.
