Proxy Parent Value
Cyberopolis is an engaging, fun program. The combination of so much to do, with great graphics and wonderful music, make it unlikely to become quickly boring. The broad variety of activities, and the variable difficulty settings make this a great attention keeper. The 4 and 6 year olds both used it independently for periods of 30 minutes to 2 hours (!) without parents present! And the two year-old sat and watched his older sibling for almost as long.

Among the most impressive components, were the multiple language opportunities in the international diner, and the brief geography lessons. Several other areas were less impressive, particularly the aquarium. This site seemed pointless at times, especially since many objects only gave out small noises when clicked.

Purchase Value
Gus is a clear step up the educational ladder from the computer animated book style of learning software. It fits a need for our 6 and 8 year olds for an educational program - I’d buy it again.
