When our six-year old reviewer was asked what he liked best about Lion King, he enthusiastically replied, “Everything!” But when asked, what did you learn, he said, “Nothing.” The perception of entertainment value over education was further highlighted when we asked him what he liked least about the program, and he replied “the word part. It’s boring.” Interestingly, when asked what type of person would least like Lion King, he stated, “kids who like Power Rangers.” We view that as a compliment.
