ABOUT THE AUTHOR
Jan Russo has a BA in Linguistics from Stanford University, and has completed graduate coursework in Comparative Human Cognition at the University of California, San Diego. Her professional experience includes teaching and program development at Gymboree Corporation, and writing for University Games, an educational product company. She is the mother of three children, ages 14, 11, and nine.
